SPRING PLAY PERFORMANCE!

Fillmore Central’s Drama Department will be presenting the Shakespeare production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream on May 5th-6th at 7:30 pm in the stage gym.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is known as Shakespeare’s most popular comedy. The play tells the story of four Athenians (Lysander–Brennus Braaten, Hermia–Aalyiah Root, Demetrius–Brayden Engen, and Helena–Abby Zutz) who wander into a fairy wood where they are met by the magical forces that dwell within it. From fiery love quarrels to hilarious scenes, A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be worth your comedic taste.

The script chosen for this production is an adaptation by Ken Womble. This script preserves the marvelous content associated with Shakespeare plays, but the text is slightly modified or cut to suit a contemporary audience.

Make sure to stop by to see what’s lurking within the Fillmore Central Stage! Admissions are only 5 dollars per attendee. In about two weeks, come down to the Fillmore Central High School to support your local drama department!
