The FCL softball team has 20 members and they are as follows: Ellie Anderson, Klaudia Biel, Josiana Corson, Cady Doberenz, Bailee Erdmann, Hailey Erickson, Esme Gastfield, Liz Hageman, Regan Hanson, Lelaina Irish, Emily Mason, Haley O’Connor, Lydia Penhollow, Indy Qualy, Kaci Ruen, Jensyn Storhoff, Maria Strimple, Rhoda Swartzentruber, Kayleigh Wangen, and Kiley Wingert. 

The team started off their season by playing La Crescent-Hokah on Thursday April 6, where they lost 0-16. Their next game was on April 11 against Rushford-Peterson and they lost 5-15. On April 13, they achieved their only win of the season so far and beat Spring Grove 17-7. On April 14 they lost to Houston 2-5 and on April 18 they lost to Chatfield 2-12. They played Winona Cotter on April 21 and lost 0-14. 

They lost to Mabel Canton 4-20 on April 24 and to Dover-Eyota 1-19 on April 25. They played St. Charles on April 27 and lost 0-12. On May 2 they competed against Plainview-Elgin-Millville and lost 2-21. They lost 0-11 to Winona Cotter on May 8 and on May 9 they lost 4-10 to Wabasha-Kellogg. On May 13 they lost to Goodhue 9-10. 

So far this season the team has a record of 1-12. The FCL softball team has three upcoming home games this week. On Tuesday, May 16, they will play La Crescent-Hokah, on Thursday, May 18, they will play Rushford-Peterson, and Friday, May 19, they will play Schaeffer Academy.
