Now it’s making a transition from the digital realm to the big screen, led by director Emma Tammi, known for movies such as “The Wind” (2014) and “Fair Chase” (2014). Blumhouse Productions is involved in the production as well as Jim Henson’s Creature Shop.
Blumhouse Productions is well-known for its involvement in the horror genre, producing successful horror franchises like “Insidious,” “Paranormal Activity,” “The Purge,” and “Get Out.” Given their expertise in the horror genre, it was anticipated that Blumhouse would play a significant role in translating the terrifying horror of the games to the silver screen.
Jim Henson’s Creature Shop is renowned for their expertise in creating animatronics and puppetry, making them a natural fit for a movie based on possessed animatronics.
