On September 19th, 2023, the LFC Boys & Girls Varsity Cross Country teams ran in the LARPH Ferndale Invitational held in Rushford. Only 3 teams competed at this meet, instead of the usual 8-10 teams. The teams who competed were LFC, Chatfield, and LARPH.
The girls varsity team placed first overall, with two members of LFC taking first and second place in their race. Varsity girls top 3 runners were Autumn Rakosnik of LFC (21:02), Lillyan Kiehne of LFC (21:49), and Lexi Kivimagi of Chatfield (22:10).
The boys varsity team placed second overall, with one member of LFC taking third place in his race. Varsity boys top 3 runners were Wyatt Kreidermacher of LARPH (17:50), Ryan Prinsen of LARPH (18:00), and Issac Snyder of LFC (18:17).
