I had the honor of interviewing Luke Hellickson for Senior Spotlight this week! For his senior year he is most excited for graduation and sports. For sports he thinks they have a really good chance at going to State in football, basketball, and golf.
He has many accomplishments but he’s planning on keeping his good grades, and just enjoying his senior year! Some goals Luke has now is to Graduate with straight A’s and do well in all his sports.
After high school Luke plans on going to a four year school for his bachelors degree in business and continuing his academic career. He is thinking about going to Minnesota State University Mankato, or UW- La Crosse.
The teachers that have had the biggest impact on him are Ms. Nielson and Mr. Mensink. He continued to say that Ms. Nielsen has taught him how to be a better person and a better reader, and that Mr. Mensink has taught him how to be a better golfer and a better student.
A favorite memory Luke had from elementary school would be Falcon Fun Day. He liked it so much because it was a day where you could be competitive with each other. Some advice Luke wishes he got before his senior year would be having no regrets, if you want to do something do it, and don’t wait because it could be too late.
