On September 26, 1777, something big happened during the American Revolutionary War. The British took over Philadelphia, causing problems for the American colonies. This made life hard for the people and the American soldiers.

The British occupation led to food shortages and high prices, making everyone extremely unhappy. General George Washington’s troops had a tough winter with not enough supplies. But, this hard time made the American soldiers even more determined to win their freedom.

So, when we think about September 26, 1777, we remember the tough times during the winter of 1777. It shows how strong and determined the American people were in their fight for freedom, which eventually led to the birth of the United States.

He recently started pursuing photography using his sister’s photo camera. He also enjoys working on vehicles and his father's old motorcycle. After high school, he hopes to pursue a business degree and open up his own bakery in Colorado with one of his friends. Ben loves to spend time in the arts and help with tech at school events.
