2023 Holiday Choir Concert

2023 Holiday Choir Concert

The 2023 Holiday Choir Concert was held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 4th. Every student sang their heart out. The junior high and the high school choirs each sang 4 holiday songs and a combined holiday song at the end of the concert. Directed by Sarah Holten, both choirs worked hard to get their songs to perfection. The high school choir practiced together daily from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and the junior high choir from 11:30 a.m. to noon.

The junior high choir sang “The Love of a Christmas Night,” “Bethlehem Lullaby,” “The Virgin Mary Had a Baby Boy,” and “Tidings of Comfort and Joy.” The high school choir sang “Mary Sat A-Rockin’,” “The First Noel,” “Song for A Winter’s Night,” and “Good People, All Rejoice.” The final holiday song, that was sung together by both choirs, was  “Joy to the World.”  The song was played by both Director Holten and accompanist, Maria Klingsheim.
