Have you ever heard of the amazing Lin-Manuel Miranda? Well if you haven’t, let me inform you of all the incredible accomplishments he has done. Miranda has done so many amazing things in his career. I think he doesn’t get enough credit for all his achievements. He does everything from acting and dancing, to writing songs and singing. His creations include “In The Heights” and “Hamilton,” both Broadway musicals. He has also worked on other films and written songs for “Encanto,” “Moana,” and “Vivo.” He is a lyrical genius, and his catchy songs are bound to get stuck in your head. He has won many awards and is a well respected and known celebrity and musician.
Now I want to take a second to really appreciate the work of his most famous masterpiece, “Hamilton.” This masterpiece is probably one of the most popular Broadway musicals and has come such a long way. It has inspired so many people and has such amazing and meaningful songs. It tells the incredible story of Alexander Hamilton’s life and the historical events that occurred during the beginning of our nation. I can hardly believe that one person created this extraordinary musical, but Miranda did it. You can just see all the effort and work that gets put into his works and the perfection to detail the performances have. The show expresses such powerful emotions that make you want to laugh and cry. It just takes you on such a journey, which I think is so beautifully created. It’s outstanding that he was able to make such a catchy and vibrant musical while also making sure it is historically accurate and interesting. I also just think that Miranda was the best person to portray Hamilton because he knew exactly what he wanted to portray in him, and it just showcases all his amazing skills.
Miranda has especially been a major part of Disney and has made great achievements with every film he works on. His most recent popular work being “The Little Mermaid” where he worked and added a few new songs to the live adaptation. He also wrote songs for “Encanto,” which was definitely a huge success and the songs are very popularly known. You can also see him in “Mary Poppins Returns” where he shows off his dancing and singing skills. He also worked on the musical “Tick, Tick… Boom!” and even makes an appearance in the new show “Percy Jackson and the Olympians.” He can write pretty much anything, and he’s had huge successes that have defined his career. I would say that Miranda has definitely been a major asset in the film industry, with being a successful playwright, filmmaker, and songwriter he really brings a lot to the table and can do it all. He has such a wide range of works, from fun lively Disney movies, to spectacular and emotional musicals. He always does something amazing, and so I cannot wait to see what he will do next.
